My unique approach to marketing is based on HubSpot’s Growth Driven Design methodology, but expanded to include non-website assets and streamlined for more efficient execution. I incorporate the same agile principles used by modern software developers. My process focuses directly on user needs and business goals, with an emphasis on adaptability and data-driven decisions.
My methodology is broken down into three phases - Strategy, Deployment, and Continuous Improvement - resulting in a faster launch, lower risk, and a better return on investment than a traditional website project. Instead of averaging two or three years between website redesigns like most companies, your website will never be out of date because it’s constantly being updated and improved.
The Strategy phase is about understanding the core business objectives and building a foundational plan. It involves researching user needs and goals, aligning with the company’s vision, and setting actionable metrics. This initial stage helps in creating a roadmap, focusing on user experience and impact.
By connecting marketing goals with business objectives, the Strategy phase ensures that the development and implementation efforts will be results-oriented and drive growth. It's a crucial part of the process that guides subsequent phases, ensuring that your marketing infrastructure evolves and grows along with the business.
The goal of the Deployment phase is to quickly develop new website and marketing assets that look and perform better than what you have today without sacrificing quality or content. It is not a final product, but a foundation on which to build and optimize from.
One of the core outputs from the Deployment phase will be a new website. Traditional websites can be risky: they require a significant up-front investment, a long build period, and they’re based entirely upon assumptions that may prove to be wrong. My approach offers a shorter build period, a faster time-to-value, and the majority of your budget is saved for optimization. It’s a lower commitment process that allows us to validate assumptions quickly and make data-driven decisions to produce real results for your business.
While the Strategy and Deployment phases are essential to getting your new marketing assets up and running quickly, the Continuous Improvement phase is the secret sauce of my approach. Your website is your most valuable marketing asset. Because constant refinement is the key to achieving enhanced performance, traditional “launch it & leave it” website builds cannot compare to the effectiveness of a website that is always being updated.
This phase is built around “sprints,” short focused cycles of design, development, and testing. Each sprint focuses on a specific high-value initiative, which enables us to rapidly make data-driven improvements, analyze the results, and adjust accordingly. By implementing small, incremental changes and measuring their impact, we can make more informed decisions and constantly refine your marketing stack's performance.

“From the very first meeting, Nick acted more like an extension of our marketing staff than an outsourced vendor. Nick was always there when we needed him with the right answer and the right course of action. Within the first three months, we saw a 500% increase in leads from our website. Most importantly, more than 10% of those leads were not only sales qualified, but actively in the process of making a purchasing decision. When compared to the leads the sales team was self-generating, the inbound leads were far warmer and much quicker to close.”

"Working with Nick, we’ve seen a 40% increase year-over-year in new contacts, a 41% increase year-over-year in digital ad conversions, and a 47% increase year-over-year in our website form engagement."

“Nick created a marketing strategy that touched on what was important to our business model, growth, and market recognition. We soon started seeing sales leads come in at a rate we had never seen before and our conversion rate was outstanding. Our marketing investment yielded great returns within the first few months and we never looked back. What ensued was a long-term relationship based upon trust, successful outcomes, Nick’s value proposition, and a repeatable process.”

“Nick brings value in the form of qualified sales leads generated by marketing assets that he helps us build and maintain. Especially with a small marketing team, the technical work Nick does helps us focus on execution and optimization as opposed to the tactical side of things. His contributions have allowed us to scale things faster than we could without him. All of the work he’s done for us in HubSpot has successfully driven an increase in engagement and leads.”

He works efficiently always keeping the end result in mind. He believes in using data to back all efforts making it easy to prove the value of investing in him.”

“The greatest benefits Nick brings are his ability to help develop and execute an effective sales and marketing strategy, and his ability to help generate more qualified sales leads. The majority of our new sales leads came from the website and email marketing initiatives that he supported.”

“The biggest ROI we’ve experienced with Nick has been learning how to measure which of our campaigns actually generated revenue. Prior to Nick’s involvement, we didn’t have any kind of measurement methodology in place. For example, we had three internal resources generate campaigns every week that accounted for roughly 120 hours of work. After we started tracking the effectiveness of the campaigns, we realized the time spent on these campaigns was not fruitful (very low click-through rates). We then focused on campaigns that had higher click-through rates (invoking our call-to-action) and scaled back the resources required to generate these campaigns. The result was a more focused approach on revenue-generating campaigns where we scaled back the time to produce the campaigns from 120 hours a week to under 40 hours a week. Overall, working with Nick has been invaluable and the investment was well worth it.”
